Radiologic Technologist Travel

Job Summary

Position is located in Rochester, New York. We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team. If you are a Radiologic Technologist who operates with great attention to detail and a big heart, you take pride in observing and communicating effectively in your patient's best interest. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill as well as a strong penchant for caring.

Salary is S2880 per week or $72/hr. This is a contract position for 13 weeks. 8hrs shift

Responsibilities:
-Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
-Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure proper radiation protection measures are in place to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.
- Ensure the cleanse and functionality of X-ray equipment
-Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.

Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Trained in operating X-ray equipment and related technology

Requirements:
Rotating weekday on-call responsibilities
Rotating weekends
(5 X 8hr shifts)
ARRT Certification
NYS DOH Rad Tech Licensure (prior to start date)
[An out-of-state Rad Tech License is allowed as a candidate if aware that they must apply and receive the NYS license prior to their start date.]
Moderate Sedation, OR, ED Trauma and Fluoroscopy Exams
