Registered Nurse (RN) (Long Term Care)

Must have LTC experience
Experience passing out meds
Must float throughout the facility
Must work every other weekend

Job Summary

Position is located in upstate New York. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be the RN in a skilled nursing facility acting as the supervisor. You are a Registered Nurse (RN) who operates with great attention to detail and a big heart. You take pride in creating personalized care plans for patients and are able to observe and communicate effectively in your patient's best interest. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as a strong penchant for solving problems.

You will work 40 hours per week
Salary is $2600 per week. This is a contract position for 8 weeks. $1660 Taxed and $940 Stipends. $65 per hour.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes
Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with supervisor

Qualifications

Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of employment
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
Valid driver’s license
First aid/CPR certification required

Must be reliable, dependable and professional. Commitment to a full-time schedule is required. The position is 3pm-11pm and 32-40 hours per week. Overtime is available.

Compensation: $65.00 - $66.00 per hour
