Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be the RN in a skilled nursing facility acting as the supervisor.
This is a agency contract for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for a rotating shift in Emergency Services. This position is responsible for coordinating patient care and performing nursing services requiring specialized judgment and skills. You will supervise LPNs and related support nursing staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team while treating patients with kindness and consideration.

Compensation: $68.00 per hour
$1508 Taxed and Weekly Stipend $940 per week (Travel)
Requirements
You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with acute conditions such as heart attacks, respiratory distress syndrome, or shock. You may care for pre- and post-operative patients or perform advanced, invasive diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Requirements
- A current registered nursing license
- A minimum of one (1) year recent experience in ER nursing, in an acute care facility
- Current BLS, ACLS certification required

- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
Requirements

- Associate of Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor’s of Nursing (Preferred)
- License:
- New York RN (Required)

- Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
- Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with supervisor
Qualifications
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of employment
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Services is Required
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Valid driver’s license
- First aid/CPR certification required
Must be reliable, dependable and professional. Commitment to a 13 week contract is required. The position is a rotating shift with every other weekend requirement.
